The lead · Sleep tracker accuracy

Your tracker knows how long you slept. It is guessing at the rest.

Across 2,144 nights logged on more than one device, trackers agreed on total sleep time within about 20 minutes. On sleep stages they disagreed by more than 250 minutes. That finding shapes how we will score every device.

Two trackers, one night (illustration) Illustration: two trackers, one night Two stepped lines show sleep stages from 11 pm to 7 am for two devices. Both lines leave and return to awake at the same times, but their deep, light and REM steps differ. Illustrative, not real data. AWAKE REM LIGHT DEEP 11 pm1 am3 am5 am7 am

Nothing collected yet, and we will not fill the gap

Our daily roundup collects short excerpts from real public posts and reviews, each attributed and linked to the original. The first batch has not landed. Until it does, this space stays empty: we do not write testimonials.

How we will score

Full methodology →

One 100-point scorecard, published before a single score. Accuracy is weighted around what trackers measure reliably, total sleep time and wake detection, not the stage minutes they disagree on.

Nothing on this site has been hands-on tested yet, so nothing has a score. When units arrive, each review switches its testing basis, publishes nightly data and says whether the unit was provided by the brand.
